New Alchemy Institute
The New Alchemy Institute, founded by John Todd, Nancy Todd, and Bill McLarney did the basic work on greenhouse fish and plant production The Green Center Inc., is a non-profit educational institute that evolved from The New Alchemy Institute. The Green Center is the custodian and distributor of publications of New Alchemy’s ecological research conducted from 1971 to 1991. The Green Center also supports projects that demonstrate ecologically derived forms of energy, agriculture, aquaculture, housing, and landscapes, and living in harmony with nature.
